On April 15th during our spring Week of programs, The Retreat Denton hosted a crawfish boil for residents and their guests. We provided the ultimate boil with crawfish, shrimp, sausages, corn and potatoes and had a delicious dessert station with lemonade, fruit, cookies and brownies. To encourage our residents to participate and bring along some friends, we raffled off a hammock and the resident with the most guests got to take it home. Even with the rainy weather, we had 126 individuals come out to eat, socialize and learn more about The Retreat Denton. Our team was able to sit and converse with the residents and guest about their experience here at The Retreat and potentially coming to live here as well! Our residents had a ton of fun hanging out and snacking in our clubhouse and at the pool, even the Denton Police stopped by to socialize as well!
One of our residents, Summer Hubbard, stated “This was one of my favorite programs, I loved being able to sit and enjoy a full plate of food in the clubhouse while being able to social distance.” We also made the announcement that all of our the amenities except for the tanning bed and golf stimulator will now be fully open without reservations! Our residents and their guests had an amazing time at this event and we’re looking forward to more like it this summer!
